Hartman's Haven Animal Rescue

Adopt a Pet
Hartman’s Haven Dog Rescue is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, all-volunteer, all-donation supported rescue for unwanted and homeless dogs (and sometimes cats) in Catawba County. We mainly rescue dogs in need from the Catawba County Animal Control. Large breed dogs are our specialty, but we love them all and occasionally have other sizes. We do not have a shelter, and operate solely out of a very small network of foster homes.

Adopting a Pet

Hartman’s Haven is dedicated to finding lhappy and healthy homes for our dogs. Our adoption process is designed to find the best dog possible for adopters, whatever needs they need met. You may have a specific breed in mind or if you are just beginning your search for a new family memeber; we are here to match you and your future dog for a lifetime of happiness.

MakING a Donation

Hartman’s Haven is a volunteer centered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Adoption fees often do not cover the costs associated with the proper care of our rescues and we do not want to turn away a dog based on their specific medical or other needs. We appreciate our numerous volunteer hours but we need the financial support for our rescues to help them find happy and healthy homes.

What we do

Our Services

Rescuing Pets

Rescuing a pet can be one of the most rewarding acts of kindness possible. We rescue, foster, and adopt dogs from local kill shelters to give this loving animals a chance at life. We are committed to finding these dogs a happy and healthy home.

Finding Pets A Home

We help find these pets a home by using an extensive pet location criteria. We match up the animal to a home’s needs and wants to make sure you have a lifelong happy family with your pet.
